MISSION

CRESER Capital Fund will accelerate access to capital and unlock the Latino economic growth engine’s force to promote the development and advancement of Latino (a) small businesses to power the next generation’s future.

CRESER Capital Fund loans are designed to help startups, newly founded small businesses in underserved communities, such as minority-owned and women-owned business owners, and individuals who live in low to moderate-income areas.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Lending Limits:

CRESER Capital Fund offers small business loans from $5,000 to $50,000 with twelve to sixty months repayment terms. No prepayment charges are associated with early payoff. CRESER Capital Fund may require a co-signer in some cases.

Loan Funds can be used for the following business purposes:

  • Business Acquisition
  • Fixture & Furniture
  • Marketing & Promotion
  • Business Expansion
  • General Working Capital
  • Supplies
  • Equipment & Machine
  • Improvements
  • Website Development
  • Inventory
  • Facility

Loan processing will begin once a completed and signed loan application is submitted with all required documents. A complete loan application goes through processing, underwriting, and final approval. Once approved, the applicant must return the signed loan disclosure agreement before closing documents are sent to the applicant (s) for approval and signature. When signed closing documents are received, the loan funding is authorized based on the approval instructions, and loan proceeds are disbursed to the applicant (s). Finally, the loan is transferred to loan servicing to manage until the loan is paid in full.

Anyone with 20% or more ownership of the business must fill out a loan application.

Required Loan Documents:

All required documents are to be uploaded when completing the Loan Application. Additional documentation may be requested as needed.

Completed and signed Loan Application with complete documentation (This will start the loan process

Financial documents required:

          • Business Structure (The correct legal name of the business, all documents required)
          • Business Tax Payer Identification number (federal and State)
          • Proof of ownership and identity
          • Business Licenses and Permits
          • Business Bank Account Information (Last three months, all pages)
          • Business and/or Personal Tax Returns (last two years, all pages) – Certified by accountant
          • Workers’ Compensation Insurance
          • Business revenue reports
          • Business location (website information, products, services, pricing, projections)
          • Lease agreement
          • Liability Insurance 

Authorization Forms 

          • Consumer Credit Check 
          • Verification Forms
          • Agreement to quarterly business/loan progress review
          • Agreement to take business-related financial education classes and to receive counseling/coaching assistance

Creser Capital Fund will cancel incomplete applications after thirty (30) or more days of inactivity.
